Obama pledges he "will never rush the solemn decision of sending our troops into harm’s way", but you don't have to be Anthony McAuliffe to know that if you're getting your a** kicked by an enemy that you can and should be beating, rushing reinforcements to the front lines is a very, very good thing.

What Obama is really saying here is "Look, I'd like to vote 'Present' on this like I did so many other times in my political career, but I can't say that in front of these cameras. Oh, and you're really baby killers dropping bombs on innocent civilians. That too."



(And yes, John, the title is another musical reference : ) ).
