Here's where Pistol Bay 3 is at the Rio range.
We'll have have the bay to ourselves with access to USPSA steel and reactive targets and I'll bring some cardboard targets as well. Hi-power rifles (above .308) probably aren't a good idea due to the short (<100 yd) range, and you're shooting a scattergun, let me know.
Let me know who's coming, so we can warn the neighbors.

Actually, I'm a big fan of Greg's. He has his calling (local politics) and we have ours (national politics). He's got more regular commentators and does a bang-up job of covering the local stuff and blasting the R+G (Man, does that show how long I've lived here...) for it's sheer incompetence, and we've got a higher Technorati rating, more traffic and a wider reach.
To each his own.

Thanks for the visit! Also, our email addys are at the bottom of the sidebar if you want to drop us a note. Kevin pretty much said it, but we're big fans of many other AZ blogs. I don't know Greg personally, but I've linked to him many times.
Since most of the others cover local politics, we try to bring an AZ perspective to national and international issues. Obviously that leads to a wider audience, but it's really apples and oranges. I would assume that they measure their success through local political influence -- and they seem quite successful at that.

And back to our regularly scheduled comments . . . we are in for the get-together. We'll probably come directly from church. I'll skip the .308 per ExKev's pronouncement, but we'll have a couple of sidearms and probably my old .22. Much fun!

The range holds 3-gun matches on that bay, so .308 is ok, it's just that the bay is short and they don't want anyone shooting long-range over the berm.

Where's the shoe-flingin' range? I wanted to bring a few pair of size 11's to get in some practice.

I have to apologize. The range is about 90 miles from my house. I need to work on a car and get some other work done tomorrow. I cannot make it.
