How Obama can stop his slide.

After sailing through a smooth campaign and early transition, Barack Obama has hit a rare rough spot. His seemingly moderate cabinet choices have outraged his liberal supporters. Blagojegate has muted his hard-charging Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. And the President-Elect's shifty responses on the Illinois governor has even the adoring press grumbling.

Is there any way Obama can turn this around? Yes, he can — but only if he follows my sage advice:
Replace Rahm Emanuel with the Iraqi Shoe-Throwing Guy.

Dirty Chicago politics are tossed under the bus while Bush-hating lefties are given a seat at The One's right hand. Add the fact that Iraqi Shoe-Throwing Guy is a journalist, and you have a political hat trick.

Why, you might ask, is a conservative offering such shrewd political advice to the opposition? C'mon, wouldn't you love to see David Shuster take a Size 10 in the grill?
