Two non-Americans threaten to leave America.

"Auf Wiedersehen!"
I'm not seeing a down side:
Seal and Heidi Klum join the list of celebrities threatening to leave the U.S. if John McCain wins Tuesday...

Seal told this month's Vanity Fair: "If McCain is elected and America staggers on further towards the abyss, then we will leave the country. That is not a problem for us.”

The British singer, who can’t vote in the election, says of Barack Obama, “There is no doubt that he is a great man, and I would put a cross next to his name immediately, if I could.”

But he’s pretty optimistic about the outcome of the election, saying that the energized youth of America has “had enough of the atrocities of the Bush administration.”

“The health system is a catastrophe, the economy has hit rock bottom, and Bush has forced his country through lies into an unnecessary and horrible war,” Seal said in the VF interview.
If America sucks so bad, why did you leave the U.K? To work on your second hit in 15 years?

I guess he's just taking the faded pop star jobs Americans refuse to do.

UPDATE: Welcome Farkers. Chips are on the table, drinks are in the fridge.

the hyperbole in Seal's statements are hilarious and show how ridiculous he is. his statements are so over the top that they nullify his position.

"healthcare system is a catastrophe". as opposed to the perfection of the rest of the worlds system. give me a break. foreigners travel here to get the best care on earth. Useful idiot.

"economy has hit rock bottom" umm, it's a recession but far from rock bottom you schmuck, USA is still incredibly productive and has a top living standard and will for many years to come. You ass.

"stagger further towards the abyss". riiight. apocalyptic forewarnings, oh my! come back in 5 yrs on your two-hit-career tour and we'll see if we are in an abyss. You pantload.

does anyone else look at these putz's as more un-talented (seal) and far less attractive (heidi) when they open their ass mouths? I do. all right she's still hot but I couldn't put up with her attitude for more than 2 minutes (that's all the time i need by the way...HA!)

Uh, Craigmeister, I hate to point it out but Bush has managed to do what Al Quaeda could not, bring the country to its knees with his search for WMDs, overtly corrupt vicepresident, godawful attitude about how "we're nummer one!!1!one!" and other atrocious decisions.

This country is not on it's knees, although there are those who seem to by lined up in that position in front of Barack.

Cheney, overtly corrupt? I doubt you could prove he is even covertly corrupt, unlike, say....Obama.

And dogoneit - we may not be "nummer one" but we most certainly are number one! Who in the world (literally) would you claim is ahead of us?

Yes, that's right: You all will have to put up with me for a least another four years if Obama wins.

    Vote accordingly.

p.s. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm also staying here if McCain wins.

I for one, WILL leave the country if McCain wins. I'm American, but I'll be damned if I'm going to stick around while this country continues to spiral out of control despite the best efforts of rational people to turn it around.

There are few things I dislike more than someone using their celebrity to comment on things for which they have no real qualification.
If the United States is so bad, leave; there are literally thousands or millions that would love to be here and probably contribute a lot more to our country than either of these two.
