Tomorrow Belongs to Me
Many parents bring their kids to church where they learn Bible stories and sing a few songs. Some other parents spend Sundays teaching their children hymns to Obama.
According to its creators, the "Sing for Change" video is "a testament to our hope, unity, courage, joy and belief in the future represented by these children." One nine-year-old Obama psalmist puts it this way: "We're gonna change it / And rearrange it / We're gonna change the world."
As I was watching this disturbing performance, I couldn't help but think of an earlier youth-based movement taught to worship a political leader. From the film Cabaret:
What is "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" other than a solemn pledge to "rearrange" the world?
When I first created the poster below, it was intended as heavy-handed sarcasm. After watching the video, it seems a little too accurate.

Choose well, America.
UPDATE: Thanks to Jonah and Ace for the links! Confederate Yankee is also on the case.
UPDATE #2: By popular request, we've made our Obama Youth artwork available for purchase at ExLg Outfitters. It's perfect attire for the re-education camp!

eeeww.
So how can those who espouse 'separation of church and state' possibly vote for a candidate who is treated as a Religious Icon?
Heil da Messiah and all that Jazz. Yea...The Boss sing those songs of Heil Obama at what $2300 at good seat.
This stuff has moveon.orged beyond creepy.

Because Obama espouses a religion they can believe in.

They'll tell you it's not a religion. They're all clear-thinkin', rational human beings.
Then they'll do stuff like this,

and their argument goes a-zoomin' out the window.

The Jugend in the foreground is insufficiently diverse to represent Hope and Change!

Children worshiping a George W. Bush cutout:

A creepy scene, but it's obvious that they are praying FOR Bush, not TO him. If the kids began singing "Dubya loves me, this I know," you'd have a more valid point.

Great minds think alike, it seems...

That's right, they weren't worshiping Bush. But they did see Bush as some sort of cultural and political redeemer sent by God for His purposes in America. And that is just as heretical as the Obama Kids' song.
A pox on both their houses.

This whole Obama thing is very dangerous. Everything that comes from his mouth is toxic.
His father was an asshole to him, so now he'll make our lives miserable so we can feel like the 'messiah'...

So this is what desperation looks like--making hay out of Obama supporters enthusiasm.

You know that poster is going to be used as evidence in your sedition trial, right? Not to worry, though. I'll probably be in the dock with you.

Hmm. Hope is a bad thing for children? One song, and you get "brainwashing" from that? Have you seen the documentary, "Jesus Camp?" See that, and then talk to me about "brainwashing." Maybe they should strive to be more like these children:

After the election will I have to worry about my children reporting me to the authorities for not having sufficient enthusiasm for "The One"?

The difference with Jesus camp? That was a bunch of strange evangelicals who may have been shown in false light by an unsympathetic filmmaker. And even if there was no false light there (and no one from the group ever claimed there wa), it was essentially a nuch of strange evangelicals who I think made most evangelicals uneasy.
That Obama video was made by our elites, and the children were the children of our elites. Creepy does not begin to describe it.
Tomorrow belongs to them.

This is extremely creepy ... something you'd expect to see and hear in North Korea, where the children (and adults) march and chant in unison. These children aren't old enough to even begin to realize what they are endorsing, and what they are opposing. This is another example of how Obama uses showmanship and crowds to substitute for a total lack of track record and experience.

Thank you for the Cabaret clip. I followed the link to the YouTube of the Hollywood Liberal kids from Drudge and slowly came to think of the connection to Tomorrow Belongs To Me. Began begging NRO people to get something going. So glad I was wasting my time and to learn of you good guys.
