When Obama promised 'change,' he wasn't kidding.

Now Obama's backtracking on abortion?
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says "mental distress" should not qualify as a health exception for late term-abortions, a key distinction not embraced by many supporters of abortion rights...

The health care exception is crucial to abortion rights advocates and is considered a legal loophole by abortion opponents. By limiting the health exception to a "serious physical issue," Obama set himself apart from other abortion rights proponents...

David N. O'Steen, the executive director of National Right to Life, said Obama's remarks to the magazine "are either quite disingenuous or they reflect that Obama does not know what he is talking about."

"You cannot believe that abortion should not be allowed for mental health reasons and support Roe v Wade," O'Steen said.
If this keeps up he's going to be to the right of Romney by August.

Does anyone know what Obama really believes about anything? Does Obama?

In related news, an Electoral Assault Vehicle was seen speeding toward a local NARAL office...

Well, duh, Jon: Obama(nation) stands for 'Change'. Like changing his mind about public funding, NAFTA, Troop removal from Irag, this abortion issue above, ...yadda yadda yadda. Don't you Neocons even listen to him? Americans want change and that what they will get - a president who will change his mind! All the issues that he was so passionate about, which separated him from Hillary, are now part of his great big campaign bus 'speed bump'. At least it will be easy for him to *change* a flat tire since he has enough things thrown under it.

This is one Paleolib who will not be voting this year.

Ummn, isn't a "paleolib" a contradiction in terms?

Don't forget 'Hope' - as in "Hope the mainstream media doesn't point out how little commitment I have to any position I take". Of course, that particular hope is not without justification.
