McCain wants the North Carolina GOP to pull an ad that blasts Obama for his ties to Reverend Wright.

Good.

McCain is basing his campaign on his honorable past and bipartisan support, and aside from a questionable ad against Romney, he's consistently maintained that high standard. McCain has little to gain and a lot to lose if he gets down into the mud. It's hard to portray yourself as being above petty politics of today if you're willing to blast your opponent at every turn, something the Obamessiah is finding out the hard way.
